Temple Lodge 5279
Support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
Temple Lodge 5279 members were moved to support two
local charities when a friend of their Worshipful Master was
involved in a near fatal cycle accident. It was thanks to the
prompt help of the “Essex & Herts Air Ambulance” and the
continued after-care support from “Headway” (The Brain
Injury Charity) that a full recovery was made by his friend and
a happy ending was achieved.
The Lodge donated £500 each to the “Essex & Herts Air
Ambulance” and to “Headway” (The Brain Injury Charity).
The picture shows the Worshipful Master W.Bro. David Dellar

Fundraising Manager, Natasha Robertson.
he Deputy Provincial
TGrand Master Paul Reeves
presented Essex Air Ambulance
with a cheque for £10,000.
Some £6,000 of this total was
donated via the newly formed
Essex Freemasons’ Community
Fund with the balance from the
Masonic Charitable Foundation
(MCF).
Essex Masons donate from
individual Lodges and Chapters
nearly £50,000 a year to the
Air Ambulance allowing the
helicopter to cover the cost of
around 25 different life saving
missions. It is a charity that will
continue to attract our support.
