W.Bro. Ken Bilby 50th Gosfield Memorial Fund

Nunn Lodge Halstead presenting a £500 donation cheque to
Alex Mair of the Gosfield Memorial Fund to assist in funding
the new War Memorial for the village of Gosfield.
On the 1st November 2019 Goodwill Lodge 7904 were
delighted to host a visit from W.Bro. Rev. Martin Howse, APGM.,
who after helping with the ceremony of raising, presented a
50th anniversary certificate to W.Bro. Ken Bilby, PPJGW., on Widows Christmas Lunch The
completion of Ken’s history in the craft W.Bro. Martin said he
looked forward to presenting Ken’s 60th certificate. Wheel of Fellowship Lodge 9016

Charity Golf Classic
on Monday 3rd On Sunday 24th November, Maldon Masonic Lodge, played
June 2019 host to the Masonic widows lunch.
Organised by Wheel of Fellowship Lodge 9016 Almoner bro
Graham Cornell the lodge welcomed over thirty diners. In
addition to enjoying lunch, guests were entertained by the
Purleigh Players, lead by Wheel of Fellowship Bro. Richard
Hurford.
The raffle held on the day raised £180, which will be donated to
the Essex Provincial Almoners fund
In addition a cheque for £50 was presented to W.bro Jim Wheeler, Group
Almoner. This was from monies raised recently by the sale of bacon rolls,
tea and coffee at the lodge for those attending Remembrance Sunday.
