he Chingford Masonic Association annual Broken
column lunch was held at Chingford Masonic Hall
Ton Friday 13th December 2019
The broken column lunch is for the widows of masons based
at Chingford Masonic Hall. The meal is our way of reminding
the widows that they are always in our thoughts.
64 guests attended this year with special guests the past
Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother John
Michael Webb and his wife & the Assistant Provincial Grand
master Worshipful Brother Peter Hollingsworth and his wife.
The APGM said grace before guests enjoyed a delightful
3 course Christmas dinner with wine served by the CMA
committee members.
The musical entertainment was provided by the wonderful
Denise.
After the meal a very special guest with a long white beard
arrived dressed in his red suit. Santa gave out gifts to all of
the widows before he left.
Right Worshipful brother John Michael Webb rose to address
the guests and to thank the committee for the event.
A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
