Seven Kings Boars Head

ur Boars Head this year has been made as special as always by the amazing generosity of all our
supporters. This year was going to be our 25th Anniversary made very special by a visit by from
Oour dearly departed Provincial Grand Master Rodney Lister Bass who was going to conduct the
         ceremony as a surprise.
We were unsure during the current pandemic if we would get the same support bearing in mind the difficulties
of not only acquiring the toys but also collecting them and then getting them into the hospitals.
Our appeal was sent to all the usual suspects and the toys started to arrive. Many offered to be central
collection points whilst others ordered online and sent them direct to their hosts for onward transmission.
We had toys coming from the far corners of Essex, other counties and even as far as Cyprus.

Unbelievably this year’s collection has set a record of 575 magnificent presents the quality of which surpasses
         all previous years.

              fully supported even in lockdown

As always, they were given to the MCA Trust, who
had also collected many toys that are included in the
above, for distribution to the Hospitals. This again
proved to be a problem with regards to quarantine
         rules and regulations.
The MCA sleigh then finally managed to get through to
three of our recipient hospitals and deliver our eagerly
awaited presents. Basildon, Princess Alexandra and
Southend had all totally run out of toys and welcomed
Santa where the toys will be put to good use during
         the coming year.
Our thanks go to everyone as always for your amazing
generosity and to the MCA trust for ensuring their safe
         delivery.
We look forward to 2021 when hopefully we get back
to singing the twelve days of Christmas and once again
start the festivities with a masonic bang.
