Combined Chapters of Central Essex

.Comp Nick Franklin (Deputy Grand Superintendent (in charge) was presented with a cheque for £1000
Eon behalf of the Combined Chapters of Central Essex for the Festival 2022 Appeal by E. Comp. Trevor
Lucky of the Thomas Paycocke Chapter No 8200.
The presentation took place on Friday 2nd October at the Howard Hall in Braintree under socially distanced
conditions. E.Comp. Barry Broyd who is Scribe E of the Combined Chapters of Central Essex was also
present.

Why the Holy Royal Arch?

The preliminary Declaration in the Book of Constitutions states that:

“Pure Ancient Masonry consists of Three Degrees and no more, viz; those of The Entered
Apprentice, The Fellow Craft and The Master Mason, including the Supreme Order of the Holy
Royal Arch.”

Not joining would be like watching a 4 part play and leaving after act 3, you wouldn’t find out what happens at the
end....
