The Braintree Masonic Centre will reopen for Masonic Meetings
The Braintree Masonic Centre will reopen for Masonic Meetings on the 1st September, with certain safety measure in
place. Brethren are being asked to enter on the left hand side of the door, have their temperature checked, use the
hand sanitation provided, collect a mask and visor if they have not brought their own, before entering the Temple with
their Regalia cases, which must remain with them in the Temple until the meeting is finished, then returned to their car
Seating is arranged in the Temple for 2mtr social distancing for a maximum of 28 Brethren to attend.
The Temple will not be used for LOI nights until further notice but can take place in the dining hall, which has been set
out for 26 attending at 2mtr socially distancing.
The bar will open for Masonic meetings with prior arrangement. There will be no access to the bar area until further
notice though and drinks orders will have to be pre ordered on arrival or from the dining room when your meeting has
finished, where the Steward will serve you and take cashless payment where possible.
Temporary rules and guidelines are in place at the moment and are issued to anyone wishing to use the hall for Masonic
and non Masonic meetings.
