                                        Chigwell Chapter 453



                                        E.Comp John Rowland in his capacity as Charity Steward of Chigwell Chapter No 453 knew his
                                        granddaughter Emily Wilson was appearing at the Gordon Craig Theatre Stevenage on 30th June
                                        and 1st July in the EDSA Showcase a variety show for 5 to 20 year old’s and thought it would be a
                                        good idea to have a bucket collection for Haven House Children’s Hospice.
                                        Emil Dale of the Emil Dale School of Performing Arts based in Hitchen was in full agreement but could
           left  to  right  Comp  Ian  Wilson,  Emily  Wilson,
           Michelle Wilson, Jaki Rowland and E.Comp John   not assist with any spare manpower. Haven House were delighted with the idea but pointed out that
           Rowland PPGSN                it coincided with their Open House Weekend and therefore all their staff and volunteers would be
                                        tied up.
       Not to be deterred John ably assisted by has son in law W.Bro Ian Wilson who is to be exalted into Chigwell Chapter at their next meeting in
       November collected and erected display boards in the theatre and fed 350 Haven House flyers into the programmes and generally publicised
       Haven House in t he foyer before each show.
       At the end of each of the four shows John, Ian, their wives Jaki and Michelle backed up by Emily between shows manned the exits with Haven
       House buckets  and a very cheerful audience parted with £502.79 to which the Chapter added a further £100 which was duly delivered to Haven
       House to be thankfully received.

        Albert Lucking Holy Royal Arch Chapter 2717 celebrated
        it's 100th Convocation on Monday 3rd September 2018
        at  Saxon  hall  by  achieving  Essex  Festival  2022  Grand
        Patron Status.
                                                           n Friday 4th January, 2019, Undine Chapter, No. 3394, celebrated
