Ixion Lodge 2501 The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust - Harlow
Following the request made by our late Provincial
Grand Master Rodney Lister Bass Ixion Lodge
2501 decided that it would be good idea to
support the local hospital in Harlow The Princess
Alexandra Hospital Trust.
W.Bro Chris Wheeler and W.Bro Mike Saunders
and myself got together and thought it would
be something that The Harlow Centre should be
involved in so we got in touch with 21other units who
met there and raised a magnificent some between
us all of £1025.00 to buy sweets for the front line
workers.
Bro Paul Lavelle then made 15 separate fortnightly trips to
the Hospital with gifts of sweets which he passed on to the
Trust Offices for the front-line staff on behalf of all of the
members who meet at Harlow.
They were so pleased with the way that Masonry at the
Harlow Masonic Centre had supported them they sent a
letter of gratitude together with this Collage showing the
photos of some of the staff who received the gifts.
This had undoubtedly raised
their spirits over the many weeks
that they were required to deal
with the effects of the virus at
the hospital.
