ESSEX MARK PROVINCIAL GRAND LODGE
MEETING.

Months of planning with several rehearsals were
fi nally put to good use in demonstrating how a
Provincial Grand Lodge meeting can be held during
these diffi cult times.
Over 180 Mark men from around the Province,
Country and World, Zoomed in to the 2021 meeting
on the 5th of June. And what an excellent meeting
it was.

Sadly there were some who
experienced the almost
inevitable wi-fi issues and
couldn't log on, who missed
an excellent meeting. Videos
played with details of departed
Brethren, promotions, reports
and plans for the future.
RW Bro Terence D Sheern, the
Provincial Grand Master of
Essex Mark Masons presented
his report in style and Ryan
Williams, the Grand Secretary
detailed plans for the future.
All in all an excellent Provincial
Grand Lodge meeting - but a
close second to the real thing.
One of those who was unable to
connect to the virtual meeting
was VW.Bro Paul Reeves,
Deputy Provincial Grand Master
in Charge, who himself is a Mark
Master Mason in Essex.
However, Provincial Charity
Steward Colin Felton was on
hand to receive a cheque for
£11,000 presented for the
Festival 2020. This brought the
grand total donated so far from
the Mark Province of Essex to
£45,000.
Essex Mark Masons all look
forward to the 2022 Felsted
meeting.
